neutral7 unveils the identity design for the upcoming event: Gainesville Fashion Week 2009. The chosen design was one of 3 final designs. We decided to give the identity a fresh and modern look without getting into an “ultra-trendy” design. GFW will be a series of events in multiple venues throughout Gainesville showcasing different designers with multiple points of views and styles. One of our goals was to keep the design borderline neutral in order to make it fit within the different shows and events but still make it strong enough to stand by itself. The color palette was directly inspired by the spring 2009 Pantone fashion color report. This is the first step for the first phase of marketing materials for the upcoming event.
